It is important that everyone starts on time and completes the entire retreat. The journey is one we go on together. For this reason, if you are not able to start or finish on time, it might be better to reschedule to another set of dates.

In short, if a participant wishes to cancel a place, they may do so and receive a full refund minus any transaction fees up until 1 calendar month before the course. We are able to offer a 50% refund up until 2 weeks before the course. After this period we are unable to offer a refund as we will have committed to costs for the participant’s place.

If however a participant finds someone else that is suitable to take their place then we would offer a refund at any time, minus any costs incurred with the transaction.

Accomodation

Accommodation details vary by event location, the type of accomodation is detailed at the time of booking. Often there are multiple options depending on budget and if coming with a partner.

These retreats are highly engaging and all participants are expected to join in all activities. Each activity builds upon the ones before. It is therefore important that everyone attends all sessions.

At the beginning of the week, we will take a collective agreement to show up on time to all the sessions. This is to maintain the integrity of the group process. That said, when you are in the group room, you will always be able to choose which activities to take part in. You are always welcome to rest, sit by the side, or even nap. If you feel that you need to go out of the seminar room or you can’t come to one of the sessions, please make sure to inform your lead facilitator.

An important part of alliance we are agreeing to, is that everyone is always at choice — and we will support you to step out of any activities if you need. You will not be asked to provide a reason; your no is a complete sentence.

For some participants, stepping out of a process may be the pivotal moment of realizing that it’s ok to say no. That said, if you know that you have issues setting your own boundaries and stepping out of uncomfortable situations, please make this known to the lead facilitator so they can offer you extra support.

If there is an emergency and you are unable to attend a specific session, please let your course leader know and you will be able to work out an appropriate plan of action together.

Prerequisites

Mental and physical health

You need to be in good physical and mental health. The retreat involves movement, stretching, and breathing exercises that require a solid base of physical health. Our events also delve into deep emotional work and experiences, which can bring up sensitive memories or past traumas. While these experiences are often transformative, they are best engaged from a place of stable mental health.

The application for a place requires you to complete an intake form that include questions about your physical and mental health, and we ask that you complete these forms with honesty. If you have any doubts, please share them with your event organizer so they can discuss the best options for your individual situation.

Age

You must be over 18 years old.
